2012 a positive message

Well its back to it 2012 is here at last. I remember the recession of the early 70s. Not as deep and as lasting as this one. However I think the government of the time put out a really positive message. I'M BACKING BRITAIN. It was advertised in News papers and magazines and supported by a TV campaign. We were encouraged to support and back our country. Well 2012 needs such a message, we will have the eyes of the world upon us and we need to show a positive face. Come on government put out a positive message.

TIME TO MOVE FORWARD --------- 2012

Another year passes, time to look back and to look ahead to a New Year. Well, I think we will all agree that 2011 was a year to remember and not for the good. The economy collapses, we have unimaginable natural disasters such as Japan -------- goodbye 2011. However I am a believer that the power of positive thought can change an outcome. For example the media in the western world can and does influence public opinion ( to the negative ). Would the recession be as long and as deep if we were not bombarded 24/7 by negative headlines and stories. What if overnight we were fed positive stories and thoughts in our media would the thought process change from the negativity we face daily. Personally I think it would. We should re frame our thinking by looking for the positives. Another good example of positive thinking to to look back at the lessons we should have learnt from the last few years. Look to the pain we have experienced and readjust our values by removing our over reliance on debt and credit. We have exposed the greed of the banker and the politicians. Positive lessons that may prevent us falling into the same traps again. ITS TIME TO FACE THE FUTURE POSITIVELY, TIME TO MOVE FORWARD.

We crave for our 15 minutes of fame. Does it bring happiness, does it bring stability and a peace of mind. For some I am sure it does. However for others it can destroy the dreams that may have been held since childhood. X FACTOR does it destroy more dreams than it makes come true?

think positive

I so believe that we can think ourselves happy. We are all born with a bright pure energy. However time and life can take the light from the energy. Negativity can cause the light to dim. By thinking positively we can cleanse the light and cleanse the energy. Life can become sweeter and happier. Start thinking positive your life will change.

If you would have asked me that question 5 years ago I would have said no. Now I so believe. For the past 3 years events in my life have been like the pieces of a jigsaw. You can influence the final outcome by seeing the good in life, in people and by doing good for those around you. Thlnk positively, thlnk happy and your life will change for the better.

A thought for Easter

I always think of Easter not as a time for giving or for taking. It is a time for making a personal sacrifice no matter how small. A time for seeing good in others. A time for doing good by others. One small gesture of kindness can make such a difference to those who receive your kindness.

I sometimes think that organised religion has got it all wrong. We do and think bad of others and yet we can repent our sins at confession and all is well. I know of people who think bad of everyone and never offer their hand in kindness or forgiveness. Yet they are convinced that by confessing their uncharitable thoughts and deeds are cleansed.

United in grief

How those who are at odds with each other can become united in grief. The death of Diana united the nation in a way only seen during times of crisis. But is'nt it a shame that the united spirit never lasts. We can learn from death that the positive energy it can create should last and not fade with the memory of the deceased.

War in the Middle East. Devastation in Japan, New Zealand and Haiti combined with climate change. Its all happening at once. Mankind has always turned upon itself, however the forces of nature have now turned upon man. Is it time to seek peace, is nature trying to tell us something?

what is freedom

What is freedom? We see images from the middle east of people fighting

for their freedom. And yet their parents and grandparents fought for the

same rights 20, 30, 40 years ago. Is freedom a short lived event that will

run its course? Will those who obtain power eventually impose restrictions upon the masses to retain their hold upon the country? Will any freedom won and the resultant loss of life be shorted lived? Is it worth it has freedom been achieved? Are we ever really free? It is an interesting thought.

Yes! 60 years. In an age when the average marriage lasts no longer than 8 years. What an incredible achievement. At the anniversary celebration party I was amazed to see how many generations their lives had touched.

What has been taken away from our society? what is missing? what is the secret ingredient? Is it simply Love or is there something else. Do we live in a throw away society that see people as throw away items that can be disposed with after a period of time. Maybe we should make an effort and look for that special ingredient. The longevity of marriage that creates stable families and lasting Love.
